Fashion || Another Look at: DOLCE & GABBANA Fall 2009
Inspired by the ever growing shoulder (which according to Style.com is i.e. "Elsa Schiaparelli for Fall. She was an original proponent of the ballooning shoulder")
Dolce and Gabbana's Fall 2009 RTW collection revisited the 30s and 40s
exaggerating components of the tailoring and creating unique placements for key elements of that time period
(Satin gloves utilized at the neck as more of a cravat, and in the hair as an accessory hyper-extended
as something that can be utilized in fashion as something more than a hand-warmer.
The furs are noticeably larger and louder; they're also placed at the shoulder to enhance the appearance of the garment.
Who knew that turquoise would make such a statement in the Fall and Winter.
Even in the Fall/Winter 2010 season, this collection makes plenty of noise.
