FASHION || Holly Fulton Spring 2011 LFW

FASHION || Holly Fulton Spring 2011 LFW

Award winning fashion designer Holly Fulton might say that
her collection is finally receiving the fashion week exposure it deserves;
The hard-at-work designer presented a line full of her trademark, fanciful, art deco prints;
her collection was a geometric playground that gave you a little bit of everything.
I spy: Sexy Fringe Detail, Bikinis, Sheath Dress, Circular Skirts, Wide Printed Harem Pants,
Art Deco Bibs that are to-die-for! I prefer to call bibs by their original name. Pectoral.
Pectorals are elaborate adornments designed to lay flat across the chest that date as far back as Ancient Egyptian times.

A grand slam combination between modern design and ancient civilization's infatuation with geosymmetry (in prints and jewelry).

Fashion || Basso & Brooke Spring 2010

Fashion || Basso & Brooke Spring 2010

The pair known as Basso & Brooke masterfully utilized the digital printwork
of famed artist,
Jeff Koons; thus creating colorful and organic prints
on fabric and fabric embellished by micro-sequins.
The result? A contemporary take on organic shapes in "psychedelic" fashion.
Tailored looks were amongst several corset and sheath dresses
in addition to harem pants and harem pant jumpsuits.
