Red Carter Miami Swim was by far one of our favorite runway collections

featured at this year's Mercedes Benz Fashion Week's 2012 Miami SWIM.

Their swimsuit construction and use of black trim add an 'Aeon Flux' futuristic touch.

Cut-out and color blocked swimsuits paired with neon, translucent acrylic, accessories
and waterproof capelets -for those of us who actually catch a random downpour
on Miami Beach in the middle of summer. It does happen.

I spy: Tie dye prints that create a striped pattern along maxi-dresses and swimsuits,

while a geometric print was utilized for contemporary resort wear.

As promised, ultra fabulous swimwear and resort looks from the Trina Turk Swim 2011 Runway.

Plenty of buzz in Miami surrounding Trina Turk's first appearance at

Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim at the Raleigh.

Absolutely adored the beautiful watercolor silk charmeuse dress and skirt in the collection.

Abstract/Deco Floral Prints in Neon colors styled with a white-and-black scarf or overshirt made an awesome pair.

Amazing oversized summer hats made bold statements as they were paired-up

with several bikinis and short summer dresses.

Ironically there wasn't much statement jewelry to be seen in any of the looks.
